Junge Lowen is Young Lion, and this is a feisty, mineral red blend, with Blaufränkisch the 'mane' contributor.

Sourced from a single vineyard on top a hill overlooking a lake, which if it sounds a little Sound of Music, well you wouldn't be wrong. The schisty soil lends a cool, minerally feel to the medium-bodied palate.

Hand-harvested, long slow ferment in tank, then maturity in very old large oak.
