Etna wines are so hot right now. From the resonant volcanic soils of Mt Etna on the isle of Sicily comes this crackingly crisp white blend of Carricante (90%), Catarratto, Minnella (10%) from Tenuta di Fessina.
Citrusy with pithy lemon and grapefruit notes and hints of mountain herbs, almond paste and fields of white blossom. Flinty and vivid with a crisp, saline twang to the acid profile and a swift cadence across the palate, just the perfect post-beach rehydration therapy.
